Images Should Remain The Same When Upscaling

If you decide to upscale a photo, it should not change any details of the image, simply make the image larger for print or social media use. I'm seeing changes to the eyes and teeth when upscaling, which are important elements of how I am choosing my initial pictures to upscale.
